
At IAA 2024, Volvo Trucks will showcase its commitment to decarbonizing transport and enhancing safety. The lineup includes battery-electric trucks, fuel cells, and renewable fuel-powered engines, reflecting a strategy for sustainable transport now and in the future.
Highlighted models include the new Volvo FH Aero, recently launched in Europe, Asia, and Africa, and the all-new Volvo VNL, debuting in Europe for the first time. Both models prioritize fuel efficiency and safety.

Also on display will be the Volvo FM Low Entry, the company’s first battery-electric truck designed for urban safety, and the Volvo FH16 Aero with its efficient D17 engine, certified for HVO and biodiesel.
Volvo will introduce its e-axle technology for next-gen electric trucks, enhancing range and drivability. With five years of experience in electric operations across 47 countries, the company is also developing hydrogen technologies for future powertrains, aiming for market readiness by the decade’s end.
Several trucks will feature Volvo’s new Camera Monitor System (CMS), improving aerodynamics and safety.

- Volvo FMX Electric 6x4 with a 3-way tipper
- Volvo FM Low Entry 6x2 garbage compactor
- Volvo FM Gas-powered 4x2 with CMS
- Volvo FE Electric 4x2 with skip loader
- Volvo VNL 860
- Volvo Fuel Cell test truck
In addition to the trucks, Volvo will present upcoming technologies and charging services for battery-electric vehicles. Visitors can find Volvo Trucks in Hall 21, booth B01, and test drive the trucks on the IAA test track. Details for the press conference will be announced later.
